Secretly Read Messages On Your iPhone

Unlike android smartphones, the native messenger app on iPhone which is used to send text messages (SMS) also send read notification to sender of the message you just open. This feature is not always a nice one, especially if you have no intention to reply the text soon. But thankfully there is a way out.



Starting from iPhone 6 and later, you now have the ability to peek into messages and read its full content without actually opening the message. This option comes into existence when the 3D Touch feature was added to iPhone.

So to read messages secretly on your iPhone without having the messenger app send read notification to the sender, do the following:

1. Open the the messenger app.
    
2. Locate the person whose text you want to read.
    
3. Tap on it and hold for the a short time.
   This will open a dialog box from which you can peek on the entire content of the text, you can even see and read previous texts if they came in a row.

Remember, like I said earlier, the feature is only available for iPhone 6 and later users.
