Many website owner use a tracking service from Google called Google Analytics to track the browsing activities of users that visits their site. If you do not want those websites which are using Google Analytics as their tracking service provider to keep a tab on you, then you need to do the following.

  1. Open the browser you don't want to be tracked on.

  2. Click >>> HERE <<<
The link above will take you to Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on page.

  3. Click the big blue Get Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on button which is by the right side of the page.

  4. From the next page, review the Terms of Service for using this add-on and then click Accept and Install to proceed with the installation process.

  5. Follow the prompt(s) that comes after to install.
We cannot be specific about the next prompt you will receive now because the next prompt(s) is different depending on the browser you are using. But one thing is certain, the next prompt(s) will lead you to successful installation of the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Once you have successfully installed and activated the add-on on your browser, any website that uses Google Analytics tracking service will no longer be able to track you. So you can surf those website without VPN for you know they won't be able to track you.

Note though that this add-ons will not prevent website not using Google Analytics tracking service from using other tracking service to track you.
